If the enemy is outside this line, it means that you’re hidden and therefore can’t be targeted. The dotted line around your ship is your level of concealment, which is affected by your camouflage. Regarding the enemy ships, keeping tabs on them using the radar is paramount for avoiding ambushes. In certain game modes such as Center Control and Base Capture, you’ll also find the central contested area and enemy base, respectively. Most importantly, though, are the allied and enemy ships, represented by the green and orange triangles, respectively. In it, you’ll see the basic lay of the land (or the sea, in this case), alongside other interesting elements. The radar is the square in the top left corner of the screen. You’ll need to learn to use this vital element if you want to win every match in this hectic naval game. The radar, for starters, is your best friend since it shows you much more than just your position in relation to your enemies’. You can still peek, but you're not invisible when you're doing it.Luckily, aside from the intuitive camera controls (which are vastly improved thanks to our BlueStacks tools), you have many other elements in your main view that will help you with monitoring the map and staying safe. MWO found a nice compromise with the visible 3rd person drone though. Typically, I don't think competitive games should have 3rd person, since people use it to peek around corners and such. I don't use it myself, but I've tried it before. It even deploys a little drone so people can see if you're using 3rd person to peek around stuff. It could be tricky when knife-fighting with other fast-movers, but I don't think there's any getting around that.Īlso, there's a button that toggles 3rd-person view in MWO. I had a lot of fun with the Locust as well. I ran my Raven more than any other mech I had. Though same with playing light mechs in MWO on PC due to awful FOV and only first-person view, ugh. Playing light tanks on mobile were just awful. RA - You can crossplay vs mobile players in WoT Blitz who haven't checked in settings "only play against players with your control type" :hee: On PC you don't need to check that :hmm: After the PC community was done laughing their butts off in gleeful anticipation, they reverted this decision, knowing exactly how one-sided that would have been in the end. Years ago when CS:GO was announced, Valve wanted cross-platform play with consoles and PC.
